The program is an advanced research degree which enables students to complete extensive, independent research thesis under the close supervision of supervisors. The master thesis set a specialization in the field of Halal Science, which consist of sub-field in Halal Fiqh, Applied Halal and Halal Management.

1. A Bachelor degree with honours in a relevant field from UTM or any other institutions of higher learning recognized by the UTM Senate; or
2. A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor degree and experience in the relevant field recognized by the UTM Senate.
Requirement for international students
Students must have a valid two-year TOEFL certificate with PBT score of 600 or above (IBT/CBT equivalent) or IELTS Band 7.
