The Master of Science in Polymer Technology (METR) is a comprehensive graduate program designed to provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in polymer science. With a strong emphasis on polymer synthesis, processing, rheology, and characterization, the program integrates active learning, case studies, and industry exposure. Students benefit from state-of-the-art research facilities and professional supervision while completing a one-year master’s project. Offered in a taught course mode, the program is open to graduates in Engineering, Science, or Technology, with intakes in March and October.

The Master of Science (Polymer Technology) is offered on a full-time basis at UTM Main Campus in Johor Bahru. The duration of study is one years to a maximum of four years. This program is open for any bachelor graduate from science, technology and engineering courses. Graduates from other discipline but with relevant experiences are also encouraged to apply.
The assessment is based on course works, final examinations and master projects given throughout the semester.
