"This program is designed to provide advanced research-based studies in management related to wide array of issues in management and technology related. Research activities are aimed at developing in-depth understanding of the state of knowledge in a technology-inclined management discipline that will contribute to the expansion of new knowledge, expertise and research skills. Students will engage in a significant research investigation of a specific inquiry resulting in the production of a thesis either with a theoretical or applied focus.
Students will have the opportunity to analyse issues, contribute or expand knowledge in their area of interest through observations, literature review and data analysis. At the end of the program, students must submit a maximum of a 200-page thesis (including references) on a research topic which has been agreed upon by the faculty. The conferment of the degree is subject to the successful completion of the thesis and viva voce. FM offers you a research experience that explores your potential to shape your future."

PLO1 Knowledge and Understanding (KW) Integrate and generate in-depth relevant knowledge independently using innovative techniques, tools and skills for decision-making to manage and resolve a complex problem in the field Business and Administration as a basis for research. PLO2 Cognitive Skills (CG) Construct a critical and innovative solution for complex problems or issues in the field of Business and Administration through research using the latest development techniques and skills. PLO3 Practical Skills (PS) Devise standard research methodology that is based on the forefront knowledge and latest development in the field of Business and Administration to solve research problems with reasonable degree of originality. PLO4 Interpersonal Skills (IPS) Demonstrate effective collaboration with peers, scholarly communities and society at large in the relevant field of expertise and research. PLO5 Communication Skills (CS) Communicate the knowledge, skills, ideas clearly using appropriate methods to peers, experts, and non-experts through various mediums. PLO6 Digital Skills (DS) Use a broad range of suitable digital technologies, media, and software to design, manage, analyse and report research studies. PLO7 Numeracy Skills (NS) Demonstrate skills in designing, planning evaluation activities, and analysing numerical and graphical data using quantitative or qualitative tools in solving problems. PLO8 Leadership, Autonomy, and Responsibility (LAR) Demonstrate leadership, autonomy and responsibility in conducting and managing own research and resources. PLO9 Personal Skills (PRS) Demonstrate the ability to manage and enhance own selfadvancement for academic development, professional development and research skills using lifelong learning strategies. PLO10 Entrepreneurial Skills (ENT) Develop potential commercialisation research output. PLO11 Ethics and Professionalism Skills (ETS) Demonstrate adherence to legal, ethical and professional codes of practice in the field of Business and Administration and research activities.
Local Candidate: Possess Bachelor Degree with honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any institutions of higher learning recognized by the University’s Senate with a minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
Possess Bachelor Degree with CGPA <2.75 from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any institutions of higher learning recognized by the University’s Senate WITH several years working experience. General Requirement Specific Requirement International Candidate: A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate; or A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate. If English is not your native language and you are attending a school where English is not the language of instruction, you must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System Academic (IELTS Academic).
