(i) CGPA ≥ 2.5 for the Bachelor Degree of Computer Science, or IT, or Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from UTM or any other recognized university by Malaysia ; or
(ii) CGPA < 2.5 for the Bachelor Degree of Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 5 years of working experience in related fields (e.g., cyber security/information security) and recognized by University Senate ; or (iii) Candidates with non-Computer Science degree (e.g. IT & other engineering) must complete two additional courses during first semester of the programme: 1. Cryptography 2. Computer Security OR (iii) Candidates with a Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent from a university recognized by Malaysia must have at least 5 years of working experience in a cyber security-related field AND pass the APEL T-7 assessment.
