The Master in Chemical Engineering program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is designed to provide advanced knowledge and skills in chemical engineering and related fields. The program consists of 12 core credits (compulsory) and 12 elective credits (choose 4 courses), covering a wide range of topics.

The core courses focus on advanced chemical reaction engineering, computational methods, separation technology, and project management, equipping students with essential technical and managerial expertise.

The elective courses allow students to specialize in various areas such as advanced chemical engineering, bioprocess, sustainable energy management, gas technology management, waste management, and polymer sciences.

Syarat khas program adalah seperti berikut:
(i) Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan Kimia dengan
kepujian, atau
(ii) Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan/ Sains/
Teknologi dengan kepujian, atau yang setaraf
dengannya serta diluluskan dan diiktiraf oleh
Senat UTM.

Kemasukkan dengan kelayakan (ii) perlu hadir dan lulus
(HL) kursus pra-syarat Kejuruteraan Kimia seperti berikut:

• METK 0113 Imbangan Jisim
• METK 0123 Kejuruteraan Tindakbalas Kimia
• METK 0133 Proses Pemisahan

This program prepares graduates for careers in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, renewable energy, environmental management, and advanced materials engineering, fostering innovation and sustainability in chemical engineering applications.
