PLO 1: Apply critical and integrative knowledge to manage and solve complex issues or problems through research, using latest techniques, tools, and advanced skills to make decisions and come up with new ideas and solutions
PLO 2: Make substantial contributions through the creation of new knowledge/theories/ solutions/practice through originality and independent research, which satisfies peer reviews and international standards.
PLO 3: Demonstrate mastery of practical skills and scientific skills to solve complex research problems.
PLO 4: Work to deal with different people in the learning and community of employees, other groups and networks, ethically and professionally.
PLO 5: Communicate effectively the knowledge, skills, ideas and research findings using appropriate methods to peers, scholarly communities, and societies through various mediums.
PLO 6: Use, improve existing or develop new appropriate tools or methodologies using a broad range of information, media and technology to support and enhance research activities.

Ijazah Sarjana Muda dengan kepujian yang baik dalam bidang berkaitan dari Universiti Teknologi Malaysia atau mana-mana institusi pengajian tinggi yang diiktiraf oleh Senat UTM;

Kelayakan lain yang setaraf dengan Ijazah Sarjana Muda dan pengalaman dalam bidang berkaitan yang diiktiraf oleh Senat UTM.
Syarat Kelayakan Bahasa Inggeris

Semua pelajar antarabangsa yang memohon ke program Pascasiswazah Universiti Teknologi Malaysia mesti mempunyai sijil:
1. TOEFL (TOEFL iBT/ TOEFL iBT HOME EDITION) 60,
2. IELTS Band 6.0,
3. MUET Band 4,
4. PTE 59 atau
5. Cambridge English Qualification (CEQ)/B1 Preliminary / B2 First (FCE)/C1 Advanced (CAE) / C2 Proficiency (CPE) 169
6. Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP – ELS) complete level 109 and above
7. Linguaskill Online (HANYA di bawah SASBADI) 169
