The Master programme by taught course extends the knowledge gained from undergraduate and develops new professional skills in a particular area of mechanical engineering discipline. The programme comprises a combination of compulsory courses, electives, and a Master’s Project. The aim of this program is to provide an opportunity to pursue an in-depth study in the broadly based mechanical engineering diciplines, thus enhancing the technological developments.

Candidates must have a four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a university recognized by Senate and MQA in engineering or science with an overall grade point average, CGPA of at least 2.50, or a CGPA between 2.0 to 2.49 with at least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in the engineering field.
Graduates from this degree have diverse career prospects in industries such as automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and energy. They can work as design engineers, project engineers, or specialists in robotics, renewable energy, and research and development. Opportunities also include roles in quality control, consulting, and academia.
