The PhD in Engineering Education is a reesarch-intensive program designed to provide candidates with the fundamental principles of engineering education, effective research design strategies, and insights into the current trends and needs in the engineering education field. Candidates are strongly encouraged to complete pre-requisite courses to equip them with the foundational knowledge necessary for advanced research.
The program is ideal for those aspiring to roles in academia, industry, consulting and government agencies. The program is also suitable for engineering education researchers, educational training specialists, technical communication experts, or those holding leadership positions such as directors of teaching or learning centers, diversity programs, or outreach initiatives, as the program provides the knowledge and skills required in the field."

Architecture is the art and science of building. It’s activities encompass the design, development and planning of the built environment as well as managing the construction process. Architects play the key role in creating buildings and habitats that serve as integrated solutions to issues and contexts as diverse as design, research, practice, construction, socio-culture, human behaviour, history, and the environment. An architect’s design could extend from working places and simple individual living, to communal and urban living of the society. Such role demands highly professional and ethical individuals in creating better built environment. The Bachelor of Science in Architecture programme at UTM is designed to produce individuals that can fulfil this role.
The Bachelor of Science in Architecture Programme is a professional degree that is equivalent to the professional qualification of the Board of Architects Malaysia Part I, which is the first part of a two tier architecture programme. The programme emphasise on architectural design skill based studio projects and the complementary courses. Competent skills and knowledge addressed with the programme, contribute to the development of architecture within the National framework, for sustainable development.

The Bachelor of Science (Human Resource Development) with Honours at UTM is a dynamic and industry-relevant program designed to shape future HR professionals, organizational leaders, and change agents. With a strong emphasis on people management, organizational behavior, leadership, and strategic HR practices, this program equips graduates with in-demand skills for thriving in today’s evolving workplace.
The course requires students to complete final year project at Semester 6 and 7 and undergo 6 months (24 weeks) of industrial training during the 8th semester (for full-time mode). Assessment of students’ performance is based on formative and summative evaluation conducted throughout each semester.

The Bachelor of Psychology with Human Resource Development with Honours provides you with a unique opportunity to obtain a multidisciplinary bachelor degree with a major in psychology and a minor in human resource development fields. This program offers an in-depth understanding of human behaviours and mental processes and also the core understanding of human resource development. It integrates biological, social, and individual factors that shape human psychological processes. You will also learn about prominent human resource theories and practices such as talent development, organization behaviour, and employee well-being skills required to successfully manage people at work.
The program offers psychology major core and elective courses, human resource development minor core courses and university general courses, employing active blended learning approaches. The course also requires the students to complete final year research project to enhance their scientific and research skills. Students will also undergo 20 weeks of supervised industrial exposure in the final semester, providing them with valuable experience to apply theoretical learning to real-world contexts. With the hands-on experience, you will develop your research, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills to analyse and address complex behavioural issues in diverse settings.
With this bachelor degree, graduates may gain entry to numerous career prospects including and not limited to: psychology officer, researcher, lecturer, human resource executive, workplace well-being coordinator, recruitment consultant, training coordinator, and corporate trainer. Graduates may also pursue further specialization in various basic and applied areas of psychology such as counselling psychology, clinical psychology, industrial and organizational psychology.
