Appointment Process and Requirements
This section outlines the specific criteria and the phased process for becoming an official UTM International Recruitment Agent.
Eligibility and Application Prerequisites
Before submitting your application, please ensure your agency meets the following mandatory requirements:
RECRUITMENT EXPERIENCE
Your company must possess experience recruiting international students for at least one (1) year or above.
MALAYSIAN REFEREES
You must provide contact details for two (2) diferent referees from any Malaysian Universities/Colleges. These referees must be able to verify your experience in recruiting international students for a minimum of one (1) year.

PROMOTE AND MARKET UTM
Actively market and promote UTM academic programmes while strictly adhering to our approved guidlines and brand standards.
STAY INFORMED
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UTM’s entry requirements, programme details, and all relevant laws, regulations and policies set by the Government of malaysia and its authorities.
RECRUIT QUALIFIED STUDENTS
Ensure every prospective student you refer meets the following criteria:
- They satisfy UTM’s minimum entry requirements.
- Their academic qualifications are officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Educaation Malaysia.
- They successfully fulfil UTM’s English language proficiency requirements.
MAINTAIN COMPLIANCE
In your recruitment activities, you must fully comply with all relevant standards, laws, regulations and policies governing international education and student recruitment.
