Permohonan dibuka kepada pelajar Ijazah Sarjana atau Doktor Falsafah (IPTA) yang melanjutkan pengajian dalam negara dan masih belum menerima penajaan.

Tempoh Permohonan
17 Ogos 2026 hingga 7 September 2026

Syarat Kelayakan:
*Keutamaan diberikan kepada pemohon yang lahir di Negeri Johor
*Pemohon mestilah menetap di Negeri Johor
*Umur tidak melebihi 40 tahun pada tahun memulakan pengajian
*Memenuhi syarat kemasukan ke IPT dan telah menerima surat tawaran tidak bersyarat daripada IPT atau telah memulakan pengajian di IPT
*Baki pengajian sekurang – kurangnya satu (1) tahun atau lebih
*Tidak menerima pembiayaan lain untuk melanjutkan pengajian di peringkat yang sama
*Mesti mendapat cuti belajar tanpa gaji atau pelepasan jawatan daripada majikan bagi mereka yang sedang berkhidmat
*Pengajian hendaklah dijalankan sepenuh masa

Bantuan Pendaftaran Pelajar ke Institut Pengajian Tinggi (iBITA) Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang bagi Tahun 2026

Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang telah menyediakan peruntukan Bantuan Pendaftaran Pelajar ke Institut Pengajian Tinggi (iBITA) berjumlah RM1,000.00 bagi (Universiti di Semenanjung), RM1,200.00 bagi (Universiti di Sabah atau Sarawak) dan RM300.00 bagi (Politeknik Malaysia).

Sistem Permohonan Bantuan Pendaftaran Pelajar ke IPT (iBITA) bagi tahun 2025/2026 akan dibuka mulai 1 Julai 2026 sehingga 30 September 2026 bagi sesi kemasukan berikut:-

i) Sesi Akademik Peringkat Diploma bagi Lepasan SPM/Setaraf; dan

ii) Sesi Akademik Peringkat Sarjana Muda bagi Lepasan STPM/ Matrikulasi/ Diploma/ Setaraf

Syarat-Syarat Permohonan

1. Pemohon WAJIB mengisi borang permohonan secara dalam talian (ONLINE) di laman sesawang http://ibita.penang.gov.my/.

2. Pendapatan isi rumah (ibu dan bapa/penjaga) tidak melebihi RM8,000.00 (Gaji Pokok Sahaja).

3. Pemohon merupakan anak kelahiran Pulau Pinang atau pelajar yang memperolehi Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) di sekolah Pulau Pinang dan Ibu/ Bapa/ Penjaga (salah seorang) merupakan pengundi berdaftar di Negeri Pulau Pinang.

4. Pelajar yang ditawarkan ke Program Diploma dan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sepenuh Masa pada tahun semasa dan tahun berikutnya sahaja.

5. Pemohon hanya layak menerima bantuan pendaftaran sekali sahaja sepanjang tempoh pengajian bagi peringkat Diploma atau Ijazah Sarjana Muda.

6. Sebarang permohonan rayuan tidak akan dipertimbangkan.

7. Permohonan secara atas talian (online) dibuka bermula dari Julai hingga September (tahun semasa) bagi . pemohon yang menerima surat tawaran bermula November . (tahun sebelum) hingga September (tahun semasa). Manakala pemohon yang menerima surat tawaran bermula Oktober (tahun semasa), pemohonan boleh diisi pada bulan Julai tahun berikutnya.

8. Kegagalan menghantar dokumen sokongan selepas tarikh tutup penghantaran akan ditolak.

MTCP Scholarship

The MTCP Scholarship is sponsored by the Malaysian Government and dedicated to international students from developing countries to pursue their postgraduate studies in Malaysia, whilst at the same time acquire the necessary knowledge and skills that could contribute to the development of their country. The duration of the award is between 24 to 36 months for Master’s Degree Programme covering any mode of study (Coursework, Mixed Mode and Research).

ELIGIBILITY

International students from the MTCP recipient countries.
Not more than 45 years old on the date of application.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

Minimum Second Class Upper (Honours) / CGPA 3.00 at undergraduate level.

English language requirements:

IELTS overall score of 6.0 and above; or
TOEFL iBT total score of 60 and above; or
Obtained a previous degree(s) with English used as the medium of instruction.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

This Scholarship covers tuition fees and other allowances.
Return economy-class airline ticket.

Anugerah Biasiswa Merdeka PNB : Pengambilan 2026

Application Eligibility:

Malaysians only
Age 22 years old and below
Applicants must be from the mainstream student intake / UPU channel
Completed first semester of Bachelor’s degree (currently second semester student) with lates CGPA of 3.75 and above (Sem 1 2025/2026 result)
Total monthly of household income (Total Gross Income) NOT exceeding RM8,000
Strong leadership qualities through various leadership positions in extracurricular, sports or social work
Scholarship coverage: Subsistence allowances, tuition fees & computer allowance

The MyBrain 2.0 program is specifically for studies at the Bachelor’s and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) levels at public universities and selected private higher education institutions (IPTS) in the country, with priority given to students in the following fields:

Science
Technology
Engineering
Mathematics

ELIGIBILITY

The MyBrain 2.0 is opened to:

Malaysian who is not working
Malaysian with no fixed income
Private higher Education Institution (IPTS) Lecturers

Shorlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

UTM National Postgraduate Fund

Award Description

This initiative aims to diversify financial aid channels and attract students to pursue postgraduate studies at UTM in the form of partial tuition waivers amounting to RM 1,000

UTM National Postgraduate Fund Requirements

- Eligibility Criteria
  – To be eligible for this financial aid, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. General Requirements
  1) Must be currently in ‘Active’ status.
  2) Must be a Malaysian student.
  3) Must not be currently working or receiving any form of financial aid from other sources.
2. Academic Requirements
  1) PhD Students: Must be in the 1st to 6th semester and 45 years old or below.
  2) Master Students: Must be in the 1st to 4th semester and 35 years old or below.
  3) Applicants must have obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.60 (for Master by Mixed-Mode & Taught Course).
  4) Preference will be given to students with good publications or an outstanding academic track record.
3. Financial Requirements
  1) Students with a household income of RM 5,000.00 and below will be given priority.

Award Description

- Specific Requirements for PhD Students
  1) Must not be currently working or receiving any form of financial aid from other sources.

UTM Young Scholars Grant

Award Description

This grant support doctoral and research masters candidates to present their research finding in well established and high international / national conferences by funding the conference

UTM Young Scholars Grant Requirements

Eligibility Criteria
1) Open to students (both local & international) registered in PhD and Master by Research programs in UTM. However, for international students only those enrolled in doctoral programme are eligible.
2) Priority is given to an applicant in semester 1-6 for PhD and semester 1-3 for Master by Research candidate.
3) Application should be filed in advance at least two (2) months prior the date of the conference.

4) Only approved applications, will qualify to claim for the grant.
5) Applicant must be invited as an oral presenter and present at the conference. Applicant must be the first student author of the paper, which must cover original, ongoing research and directly related to the applicant thesis topic.
6) Applicant must not receive any full scholarship (tuition fees and monthly allowance) during the application submission.
7) Applicant can only be awarded with this financial assistance ONCE throughout the study.
8) Please take note that an applicant’s funding will be cancelled upon submission of thesis for viva voce.
9) Only attendance to conference organized by registered association/university/research institute/academic organization/government agency
(preferably indexed conference) will be considered for financial support. Supervisors are responsible to check and ensure that the conference is not organized by commercial organizer.
10) The rates for this funding are as below:
a) PhD – maximum amount of RM700
b) Master by Research – maximum amount of RM500

Publication Incentive Claim

Claim Purpose

Students can apply for verification from the University for research publications based on the rankings they have achieved in ISI Web of Knowledge (WOS).

Claim Payments

Eligibility Criteria
1) First Student Author: The applicant must be the first student author and a UTM graduate student.
2) Publication Details: The published paper must include a volume number and page number.
3) Affiliation: The affiliation must be Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
4) Supervisor Involvement: The applicant must be the first student author, and the supervisor(s) must be one of the authors.
5) Claim Validity: All claims made in the current year are only valid for papers published in the current semester and the one previous semester. Students may claim RM250 for publications in Q1 and Q2 journals

UTM Endowmen Scholarships

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) invites eligible Malaysian citizen to apply for UTM Endowmen Scholarship to pursue full time study at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) scholarships and whoever success will receive the scholarships until they graduated depending on their performance.
The receiver of the scholarships awards would not be bond by UTM and they are free to work with other organizations after their graduation
Endowmen Scholarship is offered to an outstanding and Bottom 40(B40) students with scholarship value from RM9,000 up to RM12,000 per year.
